About The Event

On October 16th, we’re gathering at Bearfruit and Grow farm, owned and operated by Leticia Marshall for a transformative event focused on empowering women in conservation. This is more than just a field day—it’s a call to action for women leaders in agriculture and conservation.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-On Training:

Learn about soil health and water quality, and examine soil health indicators.

  • Creekside Learning:

Visit the farm’s creek to discuss the importance of riparian buffers and identify invasive species in a natural setting.

  • Conservation Leadership:

Engage in a dynamic session at 11:45 AM where women leaders in conservation agriculture will join us to discuss what conservation leadership looks like for women, how to develop these essential skills, and the power of empowering communities.
