In collaboration with KADA, Cindy will conduct research studies to explore the benefits of biochar and its potential to enhance soil quality across the state. Her work aims to provide valuable insights into sustainable agricultural practices that could significantly improve Kentucky's soil health.
Tatum Lewis
Program Lead, Biochar & Soil Health
Tatum Lewis will support farmers and collaborate with Cindy Finneseth, University of Kentucky researcher, on biochar implementation and study. This role involves assisting with practical applications, data collection, and research initiatives focused on the impact of biochar in agriculture. Together, they aim to enhance agricultural practices and promote sustainable farming solutions.
Jennifer Krueger
Community Engagement Liason
Jennifer Krueger serves as the Community Engagement Liaison for the biochar initiative. Working closely with the Technical Assistant, she acts as a vital bridge between the organization and the community. Her role focuses on documentation, facilitating communication, and ensuring that the community needs and perspectives are prioritized in the to decision-making process. Jennifer is dedicated enhancing KADA's Biochar initiative and fostering strong community connections.
